Central 1, a financial services provider based in Canada, has partnered with Open Banking platform Flinks to enable financial data exchange for credit unions. As part of the partnership, Flinks’ Outbound solution will allow secure sharing of financial data with third-party apps without revealing banking credentials. The solution also provides access to and distribution of Open Banking API connections across a network of fintech and application partners. The Central 1 and Flinks solution is expected to be available to credit union members and financial institution clients by mid-2024.
