TLDR: President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine released a declaration of his income and assets, revealing a decrease in his household cashflow in 2022 compared to the previous year. The declaration showed that his income fell by UAH 1.8 million ($47,500) to UAH 3.7 million ($97,706) in 2022. The decrease was attributed to frozen rental agreements due to Russia’s invasion. Zelensky’s number of apartments, vehicles, and other assets remained unchanged.

According to the declaration, Zelensky finished the registration process for 22 trademarks in 2021, which he had started before becoming president. The full declaration listed several dozen trademarks.

Before becoming president, Zelensky was already famous as a comedic actor and businessman. He entered the international spotlight as the war-time president of Ukraine after Russia’s invasion in 2022.
