American Banker is currently accepting applications for the Most Powerful Women in Banking and Finance: Next 2024 award. This award is meant to recognize up-and-coming women in the pipeline, bringing more visibility to those on a path to become the C-suite leaders of tomorrow. A group of 15 women, 40 years of age and younger, will be selected, each with accomplishments and influence that set them apart. Those who earn a spot on the 2024 Next list will be celebrated during the annual Most Powerful Women in Banking conference and Next award ceremony in New York City on October 22 and 23.
Applicants must be nominated by an executive at their company who can speak to their exceptional work and leadership skills. Only employees of private sector financial services firms focused on commercial or retail banking or private sector financial institutions can participate. Non-bank employees, including those at fintech companies without a banking charter, are not eligible. Applications must be submitted through the secure online system.
The deadline to apply for the 2024 Next list is Friday, March 29 at 11:59 p.m. EST. Interested applicants can find more information and begin the application process on American Banker’s website. Sponsorship opportunities are also available for those interested in supporting the Next program or the Most Powerful Women in Banking conference.
