Brazilian fintech Conta Simples has raised $41.5 million in a Series B funding round. The funding will be used to enhance the company’s corporate card platform and expense management services. The round was led by existing investor Base10 Partners, with participation from Jam Fund, Valor Capital, Big Bets, Y Combinator, Broadhaven, and DOMO. Conta Simples plans to explore new growth opportunities and introduce new features like receivables, financing, and buy now, pay later (BNPL). The company, which broke even at the end of 2023, aims to implement significant improvements to its platform.
