Rivero, a Zurich-based payment fintech, has raised €6.3 million in a Series A round to further its growth and product development. The round was led by 6 Degrees Capital and Inference Partners, and included participation from PostFinance’s Venture Arm, Kraken Ventures, Seed X Liechtenstein, and angel investor Robert Kraal. Rivero offers digitalisation and automation solutions for payment processes, with a focus on fraud recovery, dispute management, and payment scheme compliance. The funding will enable the company to expand into new markets and strengthen its workforce. Rivero has secured partnerships with more than 20 financial institutions since its launch in 2019.
